THE ORIGIN
"TW 33" looks pretty much like the traditional fishing vessels which were used on the Atlantic Coast. These boats were known to be fast and also very easy to work with. The shallow draft makes them ideal for exploring coastal waters. The fact that they are heavy makes them very comfortable if the water turns unpleasant. She will be perfect to travel with a crew of 2 or 3 and with a traditional look, she will be also welcome all over the world.
CONSTRUCTION
The wooden construction is traditional with superior specification and under the supervision of an official navigation register. The choice of the best timber available will assure long life and a minimum care.
SAIL PLAN
For "TW 33", we have chosen a gaff rig ketch which gives us a low center of gravity and also a divided sail plan. The advantage of this is that the boat doesn't heel too much and also it is easy to manage small size sails.
INTERIOR LAYOUT
- 4 very comfortable bunks.
- A chart table.
- Shower/heads.
- Kitchen.
SAILING
We can choose between a tiller or an hydraulic stearing system.
AUXILIARY POWER
The engine will be selected depending on your navigation program: from 40 to 80 HP.
MAINTENANCE
"TW 33" is an average-sized boat, comfortable and very easy to maintain by one person. Two or three week-ends per year should be enough to keep the "TW 33" beautiful.
