THE ORIGIN
Remaining within the WANDA concept we are often asked for the ideal boat for the tightest budget possible. Below 10 metres, it is difficult to build a cruising boat with sufficient autonomy and including comfort for long voyages or for a extended spell on board. It is thererore towards a double-ender of 10 metres that we have oriented our efforts.Cesar ORSINI has brought together comfort, reasonable size, with a heavy but still controllable displacement.
CONSTRUCTION
The wooden construction is classical with superior specification and under the control of an official navigation register. The choice of the best timber available will assure long life and a minimum care.
SAIL PLAN
The sail plan is in answer to each yachtsman's plans so one can rig for lateen, for lug or for Bermuda.
INTERIOR LAYOUT
From the point of view of interior fixtures and fittings, we have made it simple but functional - 3 to 4 berth cabin, kitchen, toilet.
AUXILIARY POWER
20 hp auxiliary engine for entering and leaving harbours.
MAINTENANCE
MANGO is an average size boat, confortable and yet very easy to maintain by one person. Two or three week-ends per year should be enough to keep the MANGO beautiful.
